It started as a matchmaking holiday in a little place called...Israel. Think ladies in white dresses dancing in the fields looking for love. Tu B'Av marks an informal "high" to counter the "low" of three weeks leading up to Tisha B'Av (basically the anniversary of a slew of tragedies in Jewish history).
Modernly, Tu B’av has become the Jewish equivalent to Valentine’s Day.
During Love Angeles, we seek to celebrate love of self, partner, community and the world.
Because as we know: Love is Love is Love is Love.
